DEG marching style valve trombone. Body is finished in yellow brass. Bell is yellow brass from body attachment through the back bow where the tuning slide would be on a regular trombone. (No tuning slide on the bell, it is on the valve body) From that point down, it is finished in rose gold for that smooth sound. Per the previous owner, this spent most of it's life as a demo. I bought it for a prospective band gig that never materialized. It's been sitting in my house for a year, with no need for it in sight. Time to move on. Listed as used, but aside from a few minor handling marks it's perfect. NO DENTS.The valves are not nearly as responsive as i would like. If i was going to keep it, i would have experimented with different valve springs. The valves are large, i would have tried Yamaha tuba springs. A friend mentioned they might just need a break-in period, but i would have expected they should be good from the factory, hence my thought of different springs. The case is near perfect, and will be packaged in cardboard to insure you will receive it as it is now.No mouthpiece, accepts standard small shank.
